Its been a while
Well, its been several days since my last post. Life has been pretty busy. On friday after work Liz and I left for General Conference. Before we left I decided to get an oil change on my lunch break..which ended up turning into a 2.5 hour ordeal. It took 4 mechanics to change my wiper blades. Then they told me that one of my tires was so worn down that it could burst at any moment. Eventually I got everything fixed. So we headed out after work and we got to Liz's brother's house in Troy, IL around midnight. On Saturday I got to meet more of Liz's family and eat at Bandana's. Her family is very nice and a lot of fun. They accepted me like family. In fact Liz's mom later told me to come back anytime even if Liz can't. lol. On Saturday night we went to General conference service, it was awesome. Home Missions service. After the service we visited several of the booths. I insisted that we go by the Spirit of Freedom booth. So I got to see Bro. Faulkner and Bro. Pastorella. Bro. Pastorella asked me to write my testimony for them to publish in the Freedomline. How exciting! On Sunday we went to Liz's brother's church. It was small but nice. After lunch we headed home. We made several stops along the way. It was raining most of the way home and at one point my windshield wiper started swinging all over the place. I pulled into a gas station to fix it and fill up. While we were there we met some ladies that had several pet monkeys. They were sooo cute. At another point along the way we stopped to go to the bathroom and get some snacks. In the process we locked the keys in the car. I began to call AAA to come rescue us and Liz went out to see if my computer was still plugged in, possibly draining the car battery. When she went out the the back door miraculously opened! It isn't supposed to open without a key and it couldn't have been open the whole drive or everything would have fell out. God is so cool. After that we got a little turned around in Memphis, but we made it home around 9:30. We were so glad that we had been out of town for the weekend because when we got back we found out that we had a major sewage leak in our building and everybody had to evacuate. Fortunately everything was fixed by the time we got home.

What a Beautiful Day...that started with a really weird dream
We are having such awesome weather. Fall is easing in and I am so excited. I'm going to buy pumpkins and gourds tonight and paint then different colors. I figure they can decorate my apartment and be nice for Kids Church too.
I had the strangest dream last night that me and someone else were being chased by bad guys. Me and the person I was with were riding motorcycles and the bad guys were running. My "friend" turned an alley that went uphill and suddenly bouncy balls of all sizes and colors were bouncing down. As I'm riding my motorcycle up this alley one of the bad guys past me and kept running. He stopped at the top and so did I and the other bad guys. Balls were shooting up through a tunnel. My "friend" exited the dream at this point and the bad guys were no longer bad. One guy held a ball and licked it. He said that they were flavored. I tasted one and it was really good. Then one of the other guys picks up a bottle of generic nyquil and tells me that he thinks the balls are made of up nyquil and bubble bum. They ask me if I can figure out how to make these balls (as if I'm a scientist). Then my alarm goes off. Weird. lol.
