Fall is in the air
Its a bit chilly this morning. Weatherbug says its 53 right now. That means I got to pull a sweater out of the closet this morning. I love sweater weather!
So my boss, her husband and several of the kids left for general conference yesterday. It's too quiet in the office by myself. I'll have to find something to listen to while I work. And I get to go to general conference this weekend. Woohoo.
May this be a great day! I got 12 hours of sleep last night so I have no excuses, lol.

Bread
Last night I decided to make some bread. A month ago I bought a bread machine at the thrift store for $10 and wasn't sure if it worked. So last night I made a delicious loaf of white bread. I need to get some wheat flour so I can make some wheat bread. It didn't finish baking until 12:00 last night so I didn't taste it until this morning. I make a couple of slices of toast. Soooo good.

Sunday Sermon- A Little Faith Can Do A Lot
Speaker- Rev. Stephen Judd
Passage- Mark 9:17-29
Matthew 8:26-And he said unto them, "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Matthew 15:28-Then Jesus answered and said unto her, "O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt." And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
During the storm at sea, the disciples called on Jesus in their desperation and He saved them (even though they had very little faith).
Matthew 17:20-And Jesus said unto them, "Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Hebrews 11:6- But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
My boldness is more important than the quality of my faith.
Hebrews 4:16- Let us therefore come boldly into the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Cry of desperation!
Miracle= Something so difficult that only God can do it.
The devil will tell you you don't have enough faith.
The prayer of a desperate father.
Mark 9:22-And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.
Mark 9:29-And he said unto them, "This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting."
Prayer is referring to the father's prayer.
Fasting wasn't include in the original manuscripts.
Matthew 7:11-"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to him that ask him?"
Ask, Seek, Knock
Mark 8:22-25-And he cometh to Bethsaida: and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.
And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
And he looked up, and said, "I see man as trees, walking."
After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
This man's healing came in stages.
Faith doesn't deny present reality.
She had one small possibility to offer God to use and multiply.
Personal Note:
Sometimes people claim a miracle before it is completed and lose the opportunity to proclaim it in its completeness.
Faith is evidenced when you stop trying to obtain it.

This man's healing came in stages.
- The man didn't initiate, his friends brought him.
- Jesus asked his progress and the man was honest.
- The man got a complete miracle.
Faith doesn't deny present reality.

My first blog
Well I'm not much of a writer so we will see how this goes. It should be fun...hopefully. lol.
I am the Kids Church Coordinator at Life Church in Tupelo and I am so excited about our upcoming service. It is scheduled to be on Oct. 18th. This will be the first service since I've taken over. I have been painting sets on cardboard boxes. It is turning out really cool. I already have one box that looks like a house and the window opens for a puppet. I'm almost done with one that is really long and it has 4 different colored panels and kids silhouettes on it. I've started one that is supposed to end up looking like a car, we'll see how that goes, lol. And I have one more that I think may end up being a picket fence. I also got polka-dot wall stickers. I want the church to look completely different when the kids come in on Sunday night. We have an amazing team! I am so excited to watch God fill our kiddos with the Holy Ghost and for them to live victorious abundant lives. Below is what the one box will look like when its completed.
